I help service-based professionals and creative agencies build scalable backend operations that support growth and sustainability in business using ClickUp as the operational base.

Hi, I'm Jena

Everybody goes through it. The feeling like there isn’t enough time in the day, that the tasks outmatch the minutes.

And yes, even with robust templates, like those in the Process and Procedure Foundational Build, you can still feel lost for time. In business ownership that’s normal!

BUT when it gets to the point where there isn’t enough time in the day for you to complete tasks that are a priority, that’s when it becomes a real issue.

That is when your clients start to feel it. It’s when burnout sets in. It’s when you either make the decision to fix it, or fold.

How do you go from the overwhelm to the level up?!

Outsourcing: The practice of having certain job functions done outside a company instead of having an in-house department or employee handle them; functions can be outsourced to either a company or an individual

Not because it’s a cliche but because when you grow your operations strategically, your money & your team get to grow. You’ve heard it before & you will hear it hundreds of times as an entrepreneur.

Not sure if outsourcing is the right thing for you?

The difficulties you may be running into

  • Not knowing when or how to release control.
  • Not knowing where to start.

When to outsource

  • Working outside your zone of genius.
  • You are spending time on non-priority tasks.
  • Client tasks don’t get the attention they deserve

The benefits of outsourcing

  • Stay in your zone of genius.
  • Serve clients more efficiently, etc.
  • Have more time for the work you love.
  • Business growth
  • Improved client experience

If you outsourced today, what is the first thing you would take off your list? 🤔

When to outsource your service management

First, when you know you want help.

You don’t need some long, elaborate explanation on why support in your business is worth the investment. Yes, strategy IS essential, but so is your gut instinct. Trust that you are capable of incredible things in your biz!

Second, the automations aren’t enough anymore.

No amount of task-lists or ClickUp automations can do the work that needs to be done without you. (ex: the content creation, the personal level of communication, etc.)

Third, you found someone who would fit in your team perfectly & you WANT to make room for them.

You WANT their talents & energy in your business. Again, trusting that you KNOW what is best for your biz.

Which role to outsource first

Here are the three most common roles in this area:

Virtual Assistant (VA):

is an independent contractor who provides administrative services to clients while operating outside of the client’s office. A virtual assistant typically operates from a home office but can access the necessary planning documents, such as shared calendars, remotely. –Investopedia

Content Creator:

A content creator is someone who creates appealing and awe-inspiring content for the viewers. The content they create can be educational, or can simply be catchy enough to entertain and grab the attention of any visitor or passerby who wasn’t previously interested in your brand. But after looking at the content, they developed a certain interest and visited your webpage or your social media handles. –

Online Business Manager:

A virtually based support professional who manages online based businesses, including the day-to-day management of projects, operations, metrics and team. –

Which to choose?

  1. Make a list of your needs
  2. Make a list of your weaknesses
  3. Check with other experts in your industry
  4. Decide where you need the most support
  5. Trust your gut.

Once you decide to bring in the support you need, it’s time to give the team the support THEY need!

The Procedure & Process Management Plug & Play Foundation is everything you need to build, manage & maintain your companies Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Is it time to outsource to a VA, Content Creator, or OBM?
